I am revising what I have learned on generating functions. GFs are extremely cool and powerful, they are among the mathematical objects I love most.
The sequence {1,3,9,27,81,243,...} has an equivalent GF 1 / ( 1-3x).
Something else, I have this strong desire to work on a real problem, to work on mathematics of my own. But it is too early there is still so much I can pick up from courses and the literature.
